Each LA luminaire is carefully handcrafted, made to measure to meet the unique needs of every client. Subtle variations may occur from one piece to another, reflecting their artisanal nature and the beauty of handmade work.

Nomenclature

To help you navigate our collections, every luminaire has a name that speaks volumes! This nomenclature is divided into three parts:

• Shade name: Represents the model name, for example, La Finlandaise.
• Dimensions: The first two digits following the name indicate the total width of the luminaire in inches, and the next digits correspond to the size of the globe (if applicable). For instance, 1205 refers to a 12’’ model with a 5’’ globe.
• Construction type: This code always starts with the letters LA and indicates whether it’s a pendant (LA00), a wall sconce (LA40), etc.

Bulb Options

We offer two types of bulbs: regular bulbs (A15 or A19, depending on globe size) and Tala dim-to-warm bulbs.
 These feature LED dimming technology designed to enhance well-being by adjusting color temperature: as the light dims, it transitions from neutral white to a warmer, cozier tone (from 2800K down to 2200K).

Electrician
 Our luminaires are designed for standard ceiling installation. For safe installation, we recommend hiring a certified electrician.

Care Guide

Powder-coated shades
 Powder coating provides a durable finish on aluminum. To preserve its shine:

• Clean with warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth.
• Avoid solvents, abrasive products, bleach, or furniture polish.

Raw brass
 Natural brass is a living material that evolves over time, developing a rich patina—a hallmark of its character.

• Wear gloves when handling to avoid marks.
• Clean with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.

Glass
 Glass is delicate and should be handled with care.

• Remove the globe before cleaning if possible.
• Use glass cleaner or warm soapy water with a clean, lint-free cloth.
• Handling glass with a clean cloth will help reduce excessive fingerprints on the surface.
